2012 We are now accepting entries to the Trojan Games 2012 Your votes have been pouring in, and over a strenuous evenings decision meeting, the ever focussed Easter 2012 committee reviewed the results, and by a long head, the Trojans Games romped home.
With 2012 being a massive, olympic, sporting year, we thought this appropriate, so saddle up, stretch, wee in a test tube, and slip into something lycra based and figure hugging, before heading to the biggest sporting event in 2012 west of London . However, whatever you do, don't google TROJAN GAMES at work, as this may be career shortening. If you want to come email info@easterhockeyfestival.com, - its first come first served, and we only have room for 24 squads of highly focussed lycra clad athletes. It is £45 per head, and a deposit of £220 per team must be sent in to secure your place. The Festival Trojans hosts a small Easter mixed hockey festival based entirely on our site just outside Southampton. Each year we have a different theme, this enables an exciting range of team names, fancy dress, and names and numbers on the back of the shirts. And God Created Trojans (2011) followed SupercalifragilisticexpialitTojans (2010) followed around the World in Eighty Trojans ( 2009) followed swiftly on from Battlestar Trojans (2008) and Disneyland Trojans (2007). In 2012 it's the Trojans Games We only have space for up to 24 teams, as we want to keep as much of the hockey as possible on the two on-site Astroturfs we use, although a small amount of grass hockey should be expected, as grass is the only true surface for an Easter festival! Any bigger than 24 teams and it starts to get a bit impersonal. The Trojans clubhouse, which is alongside the main astroturf has 3 bars, excellent catering, really good showers, and lots of nooks, crannies, and squash courts for the full range of festival experiences. 2008 The Away Strip
